Red Mondays are celebratory end of season parties held by Red Bull on a Monday night for their on-trade teams throughout the country. With Red Bull being renowned for both creating and instigating new sports and supporting some of the most unique and diverse music projects, all with incredible production value, our brief was to provide something that will wow the Red Bull staff, to be engaging enough to ensure they will all come away with an incredible experience.
The events are notoriously held at alternative venues or unique locations with the location kept as a secret until the arrival on the day. Each event sees approximately 800 of Red Bull staff ready to spread their wings and party. We were briefed to produce two different events, one for South and North of the country respectively.
Okoru were appointed by Red Bull to produce the following for their two events in Manchester and Brighton in 2017.

The two venues were held at two very distinct unused warehouses in unexpected locations of Brighton and Manchester. Our team successfully transformed the venues using a Litedeck stage and Milos truss system and our L’Acoustics DV Dosc sound system. As well as installing the lighting and power we also threw in our rotating mirror ball DJ booth which always gets the crowd pumping, plus our laser arrays and a variety of other unique SFX features.
On the night, we managed both the technical elements of the event as well as the stage management and artist liaison with the two events seeing the likes of Shy FX and House Gospel Choir take to the stage to entertain the crowds.
After the successful deliveries of both shows, Okoru have been re-appointed to deliver the full production of Red Mondays events in January 2019.
